Job Summary

Our client based in West Byfleet are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to cover a variety of accounting responsibilities.

Job Description

  • Processing weekly time sheets and wages (SAGE Line 50)
  • Cash and Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier payments by BACS, CIS Sub Contractor monthly reconciliations and payments
  • VAT reconciliations and returns
  • PAYE reconciliation and returns
  • Customer and Supplier interface

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel spreadsheets and Word
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounting and payroll/construction industry Tax Scheme (CIS)
  • Ability to integrate into a small and versatile accounts team
  • Accurate with a keen eye for detail
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Security cleared to SC
