Job Summary

Our client based in Chobham, Surrey are seeking a Part Time Pensions Administrator to deal with a range of tasks supporting the Practice, involving handling all types of administrative queries, and supporting the Partner in the technicalities of their advice.  With the completion of all compliance documentation and reports; this includes co-ordinating research and analysis, the preparation of documentation such as illustrations and Suitability Letters as well as communicating with clients.

Job Description

  • Communicating with clients via email or the telephone – dealing with enquiries in the Partner’s absence
  • Co-ordination of research and analysis on client’s existing investments and pensions – including dealing with other providers to gather relevant information
  • Completion of Critical Yield calculators, illustrations, and Suitability Letters in a compliant manner, and liaising with Business Assurance teams to ensure all advice is compliant as per FCA rules
  • Preparation of paperwork to facilitate any outcomes of advice
  • Completion of applications
  • Facilitating top ups to existing investments for clients
  • Managing withdrawals – including pension crystallisations

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Ideally you will have Financial Services knowledge
  • An understanding of pensions terminology
  • Good attention to detail and being able to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A background in banking advantages.
