Job Description

Our client, a growing and well-established IT services provider, is looking to recruit a 1st Line Support Consultant to join their Technical Delivery Team.

This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be the first point of contact for infrastructure and cloud support issues, delivering prompt, professional, and empathetic service while ensuring SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor servers, storage and network hardware
  • Basic diagnostics and fault escalation
  • VMware ESXi host & VM monitoring
  • Azure resource monitoring & Azure AD administration
  • Support on-prem Active Directory
  • Maintain accurate documentation and asset records
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users

What We’re Looking For:

  • Understanding of infrastructure, virtualisation and Azure fundamentals
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Clear communication skills
  • Proactive, organised and detail-focused

What’s On Offer:

  • Salary range is dependant on experience
  • 35-hour working week
  • Hybrid working (5 days per fortnight in office)
