Job Description
We’re working with a leading manufacturer to find an Engineering Technician to support their specialist production processes. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to go permanent after 14 weeks.
What you’ll do:
- Help improve how things are made by supporting production and process development.
- Work with other teams to solve problems and make processes more efficient.
- Support training for production staff and help maintain quality standards.
- Use precision measuring tools and lab equipment to check product quality.
- Keep accurate records and support technical requests from teams and customers.
What we’re looking for:
- Able to read and understand technical instructions.
- Good with numbers and comfortable interpreting data and graphs.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using tools like micrometres or similar measuring instruments.
- Organised, reliable, and a clear communicator.
- Comfortable working on your own or with others.
The details: - Full benefits will apply after week 12 (AWR)
- Salary: Up to £28,000
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (3 reserved for Christmas closure)
- Extras: Pension scheme, on-site parking
- Contract: Temp-to-perm after 14 weeks
