Job Description
Our client is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Contract Maskers (Evening) Hours are 3.30 pm to 9.30 pm to join their engineering team based in Woking, Surrey. This role involves the masking and de-masking of customer products during the coating process, ensuring precision and quality standards are maintained throughout. Candidates will be trained on the masking procedures and must adhere to strict safety and cleanliness protocols, including clean room procedures and ESD requirements. The position requires performing inspection tasks, maintaining a neat work area, and supporting clean room maintenance as needed. There will be an initial training period, after which candidates are expected to achieve masker certification and become proficient in the job requirements.
- Previous experience as a Production Assistant with a background in Packaging is preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions, processes, and safety protocols.
- Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination for accurate masking/de-masking tasks.
- Good communication skills in English for reading instructions and completing documentation.
- Ability to perform basic math functions and distinguish between different colours.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work in a clean room environment and perform scheduled maintenance tasks.
